The journey of “Maira”
In the presence of the Mayor, Mr. Ilias Apostolopoulos, the “Maira” exhibition was successfully inaugurated on Saturday, march 14th in the Exhibition Hall of the Papagou – Holargos City Hall. 30 works of mixed technique on wood, in primitive shapes inspired by the Aegean islands, exuding light and positive energy, while praising the beginning of the Greek culture, form the inspired collection of the painter, Mrs. Ioanna Tsachtsirli.
The “Maira” solo exhibition began its journey in 2013 from Holargos and moved to Elefsina, Andros and recently Kolonaki. With part of the art collection being currently displayed in Bucharest, Romania, the exhibition returns to its birthplace, in the Papagou – Holargos City Hall, from March 12 – 25th. DIOS Natural Mineral Water accompanies “Maira” on its journey for the second time and supports such unique art events, as an official sponsor.
